Manual Sliding Gates

Here at Barriers Direct, we offer a range of manual sliding gates that offer barrier protection where space is otherwise limited. Swinging a gate open requires more room which not all entrances can offer, especially if the gate is just off a busy street. Our manual cantilever sliding gates work well in restricting access to certain environments in a cost-effective and low maintenance manner. The manual sliding gates are supported by an internal roller mechanism that easily and smoothly operates when the gate is opened or closed. 

This mechanism is so well designed and installed that it should provide many years of consistently effective use. Compared to the automated version, this gate is cost-effective and requires little maintenance to keep it working correctly. It is also not subject to the challenges of power failure. We offer this product in several variations of designs. For simple and see-through options, we can provide this gate with a choice of palisade or mesh infills. Where privacy is preferred, timber and louvre infills can be selected instead. The gates can also be customised to feature corporate colours on request.

To enhance their security features, gates higher than 1500mm in height can be equipped with anti-climb spikes. The gates can also incorporate razor wire extensions and electric fence for added security. Other optional extras include traffic lights and warning sirens. A heavy-duty locking mechanism is included as standard. While the gates come in an option of 1.8m -2.4m heights, bespoke heights are also available on request.

The gate is made of high-grade aluminium that is very durable and can easily withstand varied weather conditions.
