Pipe Protectors

Exposed pipes are a hazard that can easily be safeguarded using vertical pipe protectors. Pipes can be used to transport any number of liquids and gases that could prove dangerous to human life, and even structural safety, if they get damaged and begin to leak. Gases, in particular, can lead to explosions that could harm people and cause extensive property damage. This risk of damage that could cause leakage, or other danger, is enhanced by the use of vehicles within the vicinity. These pipe protectors are made of very sturdy all-steel construction that features three tubes arranged in a semi-circular arrangement. The wall thickness of the protectors’ tubes is 2mm, while the tubes themselves are 48mm wide in diameter. The protector comes in an option of 1000mm or 1500mm heights. They can accommodate pipes of up to 250mm in diameter. They are anchored using bolts to the ground at the bottom, and to the wall at the top, on either side of the pipe. Eight bolts are used to secure it in total and they can be easily and quickly installed.

To further ensure their visibility and enhance safety, the pipe protectors come in yellow colour with black bands. They are hot-dip galvanised and powder coated to make them weather and corrosion-resistant. This means they can be reliably used in both indoor and outdoor settings.

We highly recommend using the vertical pipe protectors in busy environments with exposed piping and the risk of collision that could cause damage and lead to a leak. They are a simple but strong protective barrier that offers good value for money given the durability of the construction and the quality of the material.
